Ans Laven is a committed advocate for women’s rights and social justice, with over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector. She has been actively involved with organizations that promote gender equality, both in professional and volunteer capacities.

For ten years, Ans served as Office Manager at WO=MEN – Dutch Gender Platform, where she supported efforts to influence gender-focused policies and fostered collaboration across civil society, government, and international partners. Her role allowed her to contribute meaningfully to the global conversation on women’s empowerment and inclusion.

Currently, Ans is also volunteering with Dutch organizations that support refugees, reflecting her deep dedication to uplifting marginalized communities and advancing human dignity.

As a board member of Women for Change International, Ans brings her organizational expertise, grassroots insight, and unwavering belief in equality to help guide the organization’s mission. She manages the finances part of the organization as the treasurer. She is passionate about ensuring that all women have the opportunity to fulfill their dreams and reach their full potential.
